Gaza Is Not a “Conflict.” It’s a Catastrophe.

This didn’t start on October 7th. Gaza has been an open-air prison for nearly two decades — sealed off, starved, and suffocated by Israeli blockades. Israel controls its airspace, borders, electricity, and access to clean water. Even before the bombs dropped, Gaza was barely surviving. Now? It’s a graveyard. The death toll is staggering. Journalists, aid workers, doctors, and entire families wiped off the map — while U.S.-funded weapons light up the sky like it's the goddamn Fourth of July.

We’re being told this is “war.” No. This is a military superpower unleashing collective punishment on a stateless, starving population with nowhere to run. Children are being pulled from rubble, schools and hospitals are targeted, and humanitarian aid is a PR stunt with a body count. And our government — our tax dollars — are co-signing every atrocity with blank checks and mealy-mouthed statements about “self-defense.”

Here’s what we do: Call your reps. Demand a permanent ceasefire. Boycott. Divest. Protest. Share Palestinian voices. Don’t let apathy be your alibi. Because if your humanity has conditions, it was never humanity to begin with.

Got thoughts? Rage? Resources? Add them below. This is your space, too. Use it. Vent, cry, organize — just don’t look away.
